Had to queue for a while before a table was free. Staff were friendly, food was delicious and reasonably priced. Best Paella I've ever had!

5 stars ⭐, no doubt. Food, service, presentation - everything was great. I rarely give 5/5 but this place deserves it Tasty food. Seafood soup had LOTS of seafood. Pork cheeks were incredibly soft and accompanied by a very tasty sauce. The Pil Pil shrimps had a big portion for a starter. Great and fast service. No push to buy extra whatsoever. Some complimentary stuff given as well. Presentation - the shrimps were still boiling when brought to the table. The server poured the soup himself, adding to the experience. There aren't many seats on the terrace and there was a line when we left. I guess you might need a reservation after all.

During our vacation in Malaga, we chose to dine at this restaurant after reading the excellent reviews and seeing the photos of the dishes on the menu. I must say we ate very well; both the tapas and the main courses were delicious. We recommend the calamari, cod, and tuna. Everything was inviting and well-cooked. The beers and wines are quality, and the espresso is just like in Italy. The restaurant is tastefully decorated, and the staff is friendly and professional. A special thanks to Santiago, who made our dinner special. He speaks Italian well, and he described the dishes to us, helping us choose. Thank you so much!

We stopped in for a light lunch during our visit to Málaga and enjoyed our visit very much. The food and drink were extremely nice and very reasonably priced. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the general vibe was quite traditional Spanish tapas bar - the exception being a large screen TV showing video of nearby locations. There are tables inside and out and although we sat inside because of the heat, eating outside would also be very pleasant in that particular street. This was a very nice place we'd be happy to visit again.

A wonderful place that’s definitely worth a visit! The staff is incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive. The menu offers a great selection of delicious tapas, perfect for sharing. The paella was absolutely outstanding – flavorful, fresh, and perfectly seasoned. And the sangria… simply amazing – light, refreshing, and the perfect complement to the meal. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for authentic Spanish flavors in a great atmosphere! ????????

Another great review restaurant to go and visit for some more wonderful food. Once again it didn't disappoint I ordered a mixture of tapas dishes as well as a beer. The food was fantastic and I enjoyed every last bite. The waiters and waitresses were so welcoming kind and always tried to strike a conversation which I always enjoy. I rated it down on atmosphere as I felt we were sat a little bit too close to other guests which wasn't the most comfortable feeling

We visited Los Marangos at 7:30pm as three adults, a baby with a pram, and a wheelchair. Despite how popular this little spot is, the wait wasn’t too bad — around 10-15 minutes for a table, ( It is wheelchair accessible in the bathroom, and there is a baby change table ) Atmosphere: The place is cozy and intimate, which adds to its charm but also means seating can be limited. If you’re arriving with a big group and want to sit together, be prepared for a challenge. It’s also a tourist favorite, so expect some waiting if you arrive later in the evening. Food & Drinks The food is the real highlight here — everything we ordered was tasty, but the standouts were: Baby squid (so good we returned the next day just for this dish!) Empanada Tinto de verano, nicely presented in a proper glass For the location, the quality of the food makes the prices feel very reasonable. Service: Excellent Service by Julieta! She was friendly helpful and welcoming. Even busy she still managed to smile Things to consider: 1. Street-side tables: If you’re seated at the tables right on the street (not against the wall), it can be uncomfortable. With the long line of people waiting, you might have folks standing extremely close to your food. At one point, we had people’s backs practically over our plates — not the best dining experience. 2. Evening smell: On both visits, the sewer smell outside was very noticeable. Before being seated we request a better-located table to avoid both issues. ( That's why I only giving 4 stars) Overall; Despite these two drawbacks, Los Marangos is a must-try tapas bar in Málaga. The food is fresh, full of flavor, and memorable, and the cozy vibe makes it a worthwhile stop. Just arrive early, ask for a table in a better spot, and you’ll enjoy one of the best tapas experiences in town.
